Grand Consecration of Phra Maha Chedi Dhammasathit

Dear SPBS members,

Palelai Buddhist Temple in Singapore is having their official opening of Phra Maha Chedi Dhammasathit (stupa).

Ven. Somdej Phra Yanvarodom of Wat Thepsirin, Bangkok, Thailand, will be the Guest of Honor at this ceremony. About 180 monks of the Theravada, Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhist traditions from Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Myanmar and Sri Lanka have been invited to grace this auspicious and joyous occasion. These venerables will be invited to chant the consecration chants according to their respective traditions. Thereafter, the Thai Theravadin consecration chants will be held over a two day period.

It is a rare opportunity to attend such opening ceremonies. Do not miss the chance to offer food & requesties to the monks during this period.

You, your family, and friends are most welcome to join us in this once in a life time consecration ceremony.
